Mid-Level Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Overview

A mid-sized law firm recognized for excellence and innovation is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with 3 to 5+ years of experience. This role involves managing a caseload of litigation matters including commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims. The position offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases independently from inception through resolution
• Develop and implement case strategies
• Handle discovery processes
• Take and defend depositions
• Coordinate with expert witnesses
• Conduct law and motion practice
• Interface with clients and opposing counsel
• Prepare for trial and mediations
• Trial experience is a plus

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California
• 3 to 5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
• Experience handling general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes
• Strong communication and advocacy skills
• Client-focused mindset with a passion for achieving successful outcomes
• Ability to manage cases independently
• Fully remote and hybrid work options available; fully remote candidates must reside within 100 miles of the Walnut Creek, CA office

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 (actual compensation based on experience)
