Real Estate Attorney

Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its transactional practice. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters. Work includes sophisticated transactions with direct client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and related transaction documents.
• Manage title, survey, due diligence, and closing requirements, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and other parties.
• Advise clients on transaction structure, risk allocation, and practical solutions to move deals forward.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, contribute portable business, and collaborate with colleagues on firm-generated matters.

Requirements

• Substantial commercial real estate transactional experience, with the ability to independently manage matters from initial negotiations through closing.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across acquisitions, leasing, and/or real estate finance.
• An established, portable book of business; size and composition will be discussed confidentially.
• Excellent judgment, responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Prior experience at an Am Law firm.
