Real Estate Counsel - Wireless

Overview

A global telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm founded in 2003 is seeking a real estate attorney to support its expanding portfolio. The firm owns 2,200 sites and facilities hosting wireless and telecom transmission assets as well as renewable power generation projects across the United States and Europe. Capital is primarily provided by a major Paris-based asset manager with $200 billion in assets under management.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to support the origination and closing of real estate assets in the United States
• Manage a pipeline of deals across the U.S., facilitating communication between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams
• Negotiate and draft documents for commercial real estate transactions
• Conduct due diligence and underwrite assets considering lease terms, projected cash flow, and facility information
• Advise on strategic transactions and commercial matters

Requirements

Education and Experience

• 4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, including experience at mid to large-sized law firms
• Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus
• Proficient with technology and remote work environments
• Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship
