Senior Defense Trial Attorney (Remote)

Overview

This role involves joining the organization’s growing Hartford, CT practice as a Senior Trial Attorney (Remote).

Responsibilities

• Defend a variety of insurance defense matters, including:
  • General Liability
  • Personal Injury
  • Product Liability
  • Professional Liability
• (Preferred) Work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in insurance defense.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.).
• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, and summarizing depositions is preferred.
• Trial experience (required).
• Ability to waive into another bar and having multiple bars in the New England area is ideal; candidates with only one bar will be considered.

Required Education & Licensure

• Active Connecticut Bar License (Required).
