Senior Life Sciences Attorney

Overview

A national law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices is seeking a Life Sciences Of Counsel to join their San Francisco office. This role offers a flexible hybrid or remote working arrangement and is ideal for attorneys with trial experience looking to develop a book of business in the Life Sciences practice area.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end as part of a team
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in the state of California
• Minimum of 8 years of defense litigation experience
• Experience with medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, or other healthcare-related cases
• Superior written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Legal project management experience is helpful

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $190,000 to $250,000 USD
