Associate Attorney, Boca Raton, FL

Overview

Full-time Associate Attorney position in Florida (remote work permitted). This role supports consumer protection matters, including transactional and civil litigation. Communication with the main office (headquartered in New York) is handled exclusively via telephone and electronic means.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload for clients in Florida
• Communicate with clients regarding their respective matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Review and draft agreements and other related documents
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve and/or settle claims
• Conduct legal research on simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law
• Work remotely, with potential travel for in-court appearances

Requirements

• Currently admitted to practice law in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with senior management and employees at all levels
• Legal research skills (proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus)
• Must be within commutable distance of Boca Raton, FL or currently located in Boca Raton, FL

• Proficiency in LexisNexis

Compensation & Benefits
