Associate Attorney

Overview

The organization is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Connecticut litigation team. This is a hands-on role working closely with a Senior Partner on a diverse caseload including casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions and other pleadings
• Draft discovery demands and responses
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review
• Perform legal research and case analysis
• Appear in Connecticut courts as needed

Requirements

• 2–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or environmental liability
• Active Connecticut bar admission required
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Detail-oriented self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment

Preferred Qualifications

• New York and/or New Jersey bar admissions

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $105,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience
