Associate Attorney, Hawaii

Overview

The organization is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its practice serving clients in Hawaii. This role supports consumer protection matters, including transactional and civil litigation. While the position is remote, communication with the main office is handled exclusively via telephone and electronic means.

Candidates must be currently located in Hawaii to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy and diversified caseload of clients in Hawaii
• Communicate with clients regarding their respective matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Review and draft agreements
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve and/or settle claims
• Conduct legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law
• Travel for in-court appearances as required

Requirements

• Currently admitted to practice law in Hawaii
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
• Superior organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with senior management and employees at all levels
• Ability to work remotely from home

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in LexisNexis

Location & Work Authorization

• Remote (must be currently located in Hawaii)
