Associate Attorney

Overview

This position is for an entry to mid-level Litigation Attorney with a mid-sized, regional firm focused on general liability, professional liability, and toxic tort litigation matters. Offices are located in PA, NJ, NY, DE and MD. The firm is seeking attorneys to join the team in the Pittsburg, PA office in a FT remote, hybrid, or onsite capacity.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters in areas of general liability, professional liability, and toxic tort litigation
• Manage cases and maintain accurate, organized records
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in litigation
• Work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

Requirements

• Current and active PA Bar membership in good standing
• Up to 7 years of litigation experience preferred, preferably in PA (open to candidates with relevant skills)
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and LexisNexis
• Familiarity with case/file management systems
• Ability to track billable hours strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional opportunities exist for more experienced candidates
• Experience in PA litigation is preferred, but relevant skills from other jurisdictions are considered

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range for the entry level to mid-level litigation attorney: $85,000 – $120,000 (commensurate upon experience)
