Overview

This role involves engaging experienced legal professionals to contribute subject-matter expertise in support of a project focused on training next-generation AI systems. The work will influence how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world legal input. No prior AI experience is required; domain expertise in law is the key qualification.

This opportunity is specifically for US-based legal professionals with mandatory experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms. Candidates must have top-tier legal training and exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes legal matters.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal analysis on various US law topics, offering nuanced insights and guidance.
  • Perform in-depth legal research to support project goals and ensure the use of current, accurate information.
  • Draft, review, and edit legal content such as memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Assess and provide structured feedback on legal texts for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to refine deliverables and address complex legal scenarios.
  • Contribute to content quality assurance by identifying errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in legal materials.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail to uphold exceptionally high standards in all submissions.

Requirements

  • Must be US-based.
  • Experience working at one or more Vault Law 100 firms is required.
  • Active license to practice law in the United States.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Proven abilities in legal analysis, research, and drafting across a range of legal subjects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in legal content review.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or prior experience at a top-tier US law firm with exposure to varied practice areas.
  • Experience with quality assurance and rubric-based evaluation of legal documents.
  • Track record of successful remote collaboration and participation in multidisciplinary projects.
