Associate Attorney
Overview
A software development organization is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney specializing in Creditors’ Rights to join their team. This role is suited for newly licensed attorneys looking to manage legal matters in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Remote work available for local candidates only)
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from filing through post-judgment stages
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Represent clients in court hearings throughout Florida
- Negotiate with opposing counsel
- Efficiently handle a high-volume caseload
- Communicate case updates and legal strategies
Requirements
- Active Florida Bar license (required)
- 0–3 years of experience; litigation, collections, or bankruptcy experience preferred
- Courtroom or hearing experience preferred
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-state licensure or eligibility is a plus
