Attorney

Overview

The organization is seeking entry-level and experienced Attorneys in the Savannah, GA area to join its practice in creditors’ rights and collection law. This is a remote position outside of court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the civil litigation process
• Conduct pre-legal review of documents to confirm proof of client legal claims
• Review pleadings in preparation for filing civil actions
• Review responsive pleadings filed by opposing parties
• Prepare correspondence, motions, discovery, and other legal pleadings during civil proceedings
• Attend hearings across the state, including default calendars, motions, and trials
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Maintain exceptional organizational skills

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in State of Georgia; in Good Standing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze documents and evidence
• Detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years litigation and trial experience
• General computer literacy
• MS Office Suite experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Entry Level: $80K to $90K based on skill set and previous experience
• Experienced: $100K to $125K based on skill set and previous experience

Location

Savannah, GA area. Remote position outside of court appearances, with frequent travel throughout the state to attend hearings.
