Attorney, Part-Time AI Legal Document Review - Remote (United States)

Overview

• Compensation: $140–$400 per hour (paid hourly as an independent contractor)
• Schedule: Part-time, fully flexible schedule
• Location: 100% remote, United States

This role supports the development and evaluation of legal AI systems by using experienced legal judgment to create realistic legal scenarios, assess AI-generated analysis, draft and edit legal documents, and provide structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze realistic legal scenarios across US law topics
• Research legal issues and evaluate whether the AI's analysis is current and accurate
• Draft and edit memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other legal documents
• Review the AI’s legal writing for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Provide structured feedback on what needs to improve

Requirements

• Active license to practice law
• Strong academic credentials
• Legal analysis, research, drafting, and precise review experience across legal subjects, with fluent English
• No AI experience required; training on the tools will be provided

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or prior experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms

Compensation & Benefits
