Compliance Attorney, Part-Time AI Compliance Law Evaluation - Remote (United States)

Overview

• Compensation: $100–$170 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task

This role involves using compliance-law judgment to review, evaluate, and improve AI systems trained on legal and regulatory matters. Work is performed remotely alongside ongoing development and testing of AI responses for compliance scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate legal documents and compliance materials used to develop AI systems
• Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for:
  • Accuracy
  • Reasoning quality
  • Compliance with U.S. standards
• Write scenario-based questions, explanations, and answers for complex compliance situations
• Identify unclear reasoning and regulatory risks, and suggest precise improvements to AI responses

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active attorney license in good standing
• Current compliance-law practice with three to ten or more years of recent, substantive experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. compliance and regulatory issues
• Professional fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• No AI experience needed. Prior AI experience is not required.
