Biotech Commercial Contracts Attorney (Remote Engagement)

Overview

An experienced biotech commercial contracts attorney is sought to support a leading biopharmaceutical company focused on gene therapy research and development. This is a part-time, fully remote engagement.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of biotech agreements including research and development contracts and clinical trial agreements
• Provide legal support tailored to the biopharmaceutical sector's commercial contracting needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience at a law firm and in-house legal department
• Proven expertise handling all types of biotech agreements, specifically R&D contracts and clinical trial agreements
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Outstanding professional references

• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 (full-time equivalent basis)
• Contract pay rates are influenced by experience, qualifications, location, market conditions, and candidate preferences
