Business Litigation Attorney - Remote in California

Overview

A dynamic and fast-growing law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 5 to 15 years of litigation experience. This full-time remote position requires the candidate to reside in California and be available to travel to court as needed. The firm specializes in business litigation, providing strategic and results-driven legal solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials
• Take and defend depositions, conduct discovery, and prepare witnesses
• Draft, review, and argue motions and other legal documents
• Develop litigation strategies and provide sound legal counsel to clients
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and support staff to advance cases
• Manage all aspects of litigation caseload from intake through resolution

Requirements

• 5 to 15 years of experience in civil/business litigation
• Significant trial, deposition, and motion practice experience
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication, case management, and client interaction abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in good standing in California preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $150,000 to $200,000 per year, based on experience

Location

• Remote position; candidate must live in California and be open to traveling to court when necessary
