Full-time contractor role with a remote workplace.
You will support Personal Injury Case Managers throughout the pre-litigation process. Responsibilities focus on keeping treatment coordination, client communication, and outstanding requests moving efficiently across a high-volume caseload. - Provide clear, empathetic updates to English- and Spanish-speaking clients regarding case status, medical appointments, and treatment progress.
- Coordinate medical appointments, referrals, MRIs, injections, and other recommended treatments as directed by the assigned Case Manager.
- Follow up on appointment attendance to help clients stay on track with recommended treatment; flag missed visits or treatment gaps.
- Maintain complete case files by requesting medical records, billing statements, treatment updates, and other outstanding documentation from providers.
- Advance insurance-related follow-ups through policy searches, coverage verification, and communication with insurance adjusters.
- Maintain reliable case histories by entering accurate notes, organizing documentation, and keeping tasks current in the firm’s cloud-based case management system.
- Identify potential delays by monitoring pending tasks and unanswered requests; escalate concerns to the assigned Case Manager.
- Provide the demand preparation team with organized, accessible medical records, bills, insurance documentation, and supporting case materials.
- Coordinate case handoffs across Case Managers, attorneys, medical records staff, and demand preparation personnel.
