Case Manager (IL/OH)

Overview

This role involves managing the operational aspects of pre-litigation for personal injury cases, primarily in Illinois and Ohio. The focus is on opening claims, managing medical record requests, securing police reports, and resolving lien issues to ensure attorneys have complete and timely information.

Responsibilities

• Open insurance claims and manage communication with carriers
• Request, track, and follow up on medical records and police reports
• Monitor lien and subrogation issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with lead paralegals to prepare cases for demand drafting
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in legal operations, case management, or claims handling
• Experience handling personal injury cases in Illinois or Ohio is essential
• Process-driven and detail-oriented
• Effective communication skills with clients and attorneys
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $60,000 – $85,000 plus equity
