Commercial Contract Attorney, Part-Time AI Contract Review - Remote (United States)

Overview

• Compensation: $90–$110 per hour (independent contractor)
• Work mode: 100% remote
• Schedule: Part-time, fully flexible (no fixed shifts)

This role supports the development and testing of legal AI systems by using your commercial contract judgment to create realistic contract review scenarios, evaluate AI performance, and draft lawyer-style redlines and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create realistic contract review scenarios from commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs
• Review the AI’s proposed redlines against established playbooks and company policy positions
• Write expert revisions and clear explanations supporting each contract change
• Identify and explain where the AI missed key risks or negotiation priorities, including issues involving liability and indemnification

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction
• At least four years of transactional practice in a law firm or in-house setting, including hands-on drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts
• No AI experience needed (training on the tools will be provided)
