Contracts Manager

Overview

This role is responsible for both the day-to-day execution and the strategic direction of the organization’s contracts and subcontracts function. You will partner closely with Growth, Delivery, Finance, and HR. The position is not limited to administrative contract processing; it involves interpreting contract terms for downstream impact, identifying risk early, and supporting how the organization wins, delivers, and plans for the future.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of contracts and subcontracts and serve as the go-to resource for Growth, Delivery, Finance, and HR
• Manage proposal-related contracts work, including:
  • Review RFP terms and conditions, flag concerns, issues, and risks to the Capture Manager
  • Prepare business proposals and subcontracting plans
  • Lead OCI analysis and documentation
  • Manage proposal delivery to the customer
  • Support other ad hoc areas as needed
• Drive strategic, consultative problem-solving on contractual issues across the organization (not just reactive support)
• Manage and guide employees, including goal setting, recommending and providing training, periodic coaching, and conducting performance reviews
• Develop, modify, and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes
• Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
• Identify risks and issues and propose solutions by assessing upstream and downstream contracting implications (rather than only administering already-signed agreements)

• Ability to operate in a growing, fast-moving environment where processes are still being built
• Sharp attention to documentation and recordkeeping discipline
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain contract risk and terms to non-contract stakeholders across Delivery, Finance, and Growth
• Interest in growing into more senior contracts leadership as the organization scales

Preferred Qualifications

• DCAA audit experience or exposure is a strong plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 – $140,000, depending on experience
