Opportunity
The Contracts Manager role is part of the Research Operations Contracting team. This position manages the lifecycle of clinical trial agreements, ensuring agreements are reviewed, negotiated, prepared, tracked, and finalized effectively. Collaboration with operational and program teams is essential to support compliant and efficient contracting for research initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Review clinical trial agreements (excluding study budgets)
- Negotiate contract terms with relevant parties
- Prepare and finalize contract documents
- Track contract statuses and maintain records
- Collaborate with Research Operations teams and local program administrators
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience in contract review and negotiation
- Knowledge of privacy law, HIPAA, compliance, contracts, or intellectual property
- J.D. preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range varies by location. Examples provided:
- Anchorage, AK: $40.11 to $62.27 per hour
- Northern California: $46.91 to $72.82 per hour
- Portland, OR area: $40.11 to $62.27 per hour
Placement on the wage range is based on experience and other factors.
