Corporate Attorney (Client Contracts) - Remote

Overview

A remote Corporate Attorney position is available to support contract management and legal advisory functions within a leading organization in the finance and insurance sector. This role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, advising internal stakeholders on legal risks, and supporting strategic partnerships and corporate investments. The attorney will collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support corporate governance.

Location: Remote (U.S. based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available)

Compensation: $110,100 – $143,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial contracts
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms and legal risks
• Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships and corporate investments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and regulatory guidance
• Provide counsel on corporate governance and insurance matters
• Support information security and privacy compliance efforts
• Serve as a trusted legal partner to various departments

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active membership in a state bar
• Minimum of 5 years' experience drafting and negotiating contracts
• Strong ability to identify legal issues and assess business risks

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and data privacy laws
• Experience with contract disputes and litigation
• Prior corporate legal experience
• Background in technology or financial services sectors

• Expertise in corporate law and contract management tools

• Knowledge of National Credit Union Administration regulations
• Experience with legal project management software and e-discovery tools
