Employment Solicitor (Partner / Senior Associate stepping to Partner)

Overview

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor at Partner level, or a Senior Associate ready to step up to Partner, to lead and expand its employment law services. This is a full-time role with flexible location options.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
• Manage both contentious and non-contentious cases, including:
  • Tribunal claims
  • Redundancy and restructuring
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Employment contracts, policies, and handbooks
  • Settlement agreements
• Lead business development and networking efforts to grow the employment law department
• Drive strategic growth and team development within the department

Requirements

• Significant post-qualification experience in employment law
• Strong background advising employer clients
• Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive employment matters independently
• Demonstrated track record in business development and client relationship management
• Ambition and capability to lead and grow a department
• Excellent communication skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
