Innovation Attorney (Restructuring)

Overview

This role sits at the intersection of restructuring practice, technology, and legal innovation. The organization is seeking an AI & Attorney to help shape how AI and emerging technology transform distressed debt and reorganization work by translating restructuring expertise into scalable tools used by attorneys and clients across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pilot AI, automation, and technology opportunities for restructuring work
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-assisted tools and document automation
• Develop and maintain knowledge management resources across chapter 11 and workout matters
• Review and rationalize templates, forms, and precedents for accuracy and technology readiness
• Lead training sessions for attorneys on AI tools and new workflows
• Serve as a trusted resource translating legal judgment into scalable solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of restructuring legal practice experience (other relevant backgrounds considered)
• Demonstrated passion for AI and a clear point of view on its application to legal workflows
• Proven ability to apply legal training to workflow design or process improvement work

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal or professional coding or tech-building experience highly valued

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $250,000–$290,000 plus performance-based bonuses
