Insurance Coverage Associate (5 yrs of experience) - OC

Overview

This is a fully remote position with the option to work in a hybrid setting from any U.S. state.

The organization is a law firm specializing in insurance coverage, handling complex insurance claims and high-stakes coverage litigation nationwide. Practice areas include defective products, mass torts, environmental contamination, habitability, transportation, personal injury, professional liability, and intellectual property.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex insurance coverage litigation from intake through settlement or trial
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Argue dispositive motions
• Provide strategic legal advice in business, professional liability, and employment disputes
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements
• Assist with marketing and business development activities

Requirements

• Active California bar license
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Five years of insurance coverage experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing, organizational, and advocacy skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary commensurate with experience: $170,000 to $180,000 USD
