Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney

Overview

A well-established civil litigation firm with over 30 years of experience and multiple offices across several states is seeking a partner-level attorney to join their Insurance Coverage Litigation team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers remote or hybrid work options after an initial training and integration period.

Responsibilities

• Assess new case files to develop action plans, budgets, and recommendations
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals accordingly
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing detailed reports
• Negotiate settlements, obtain necessary authority, and prepare for trial when required
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of practice experience in insurance coverage and/or general litigation
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Initiative and ability to multitask effectively
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a partner-level role or equivalent
• Familiarity with mentorship structures and membership tracks with defined benchmarks
