Junior Attorney

Overview

A growing labor and employment law firm is seeking a fully remote Entry-Level Attorney / First-Year Associate on a contract-to-hire basis. This position is open to candidates licensed and residing in California.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and services related to labor and employment law
• Assist with workers' compensation matters
• Collaborate with the legal team on various employment law cases

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar license required)
• Residence in California
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Interest in employment law and/or workers' compensation
• Willingness to work on a 3-month contract before potential conversion to a permanent, direct hire role

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate between $40 and $45

• Opportunity to convert to a permanent position after 3 months
