Junior Attorney

Overview

A growing labor and employment law firm is seeking a fully remote Entry-Level Attorney / First-Year Associate on a contract-to-hire basis. This position is open to candidates licensed and residing in California.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and services related to labor, employment law, and workers' compensation matters.
• Collaborate with the legal team on case preparation and client representation.
• Perform research and draft legal documents as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar license required).
• Residence in California.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Interest in employment law and/or workers' compensation.
• Willingness to work on a 3-month contract before potential conversion to a permanent direct hire role.

Preferred Qualifications

• First-year attorney or entry-level associate experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate between $40 and $45.

• Opportunity to convert to a permanent position after 3 months.

• Must be based in California and licensed to practice law in California.
• This is a fully remote position.
