Junior Attorney (Iowa Hybrid - Local Court Required) — $75k–$110k + Bonus + Training

Overview

This role is a remote-first Junior Attorney position (0–3 years experience) handling criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation matters in Iowa. Local court appearances are required as needed, with hands-on mentorship and training from experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and gradually take ownership of cases in criminal, family, and civil matters
• Attend court with guidance and support
• Draft pleadings
• Communicate with clients
• Build litigation skills and grow into independent case management

Requirements

• Licensed in Iowa or awaiting bar results
• Interest in litigation (criminal, family, or civil)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year (depending on experience and workload)
• Compensation tied to your chosen billable target
