This position involves providing legal guidance related to microtasking and freelance platforms. The role includes reviewing platform policies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and advising on dispute resolution mechanisms.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Advise on legal risks associated with microtasking operations, including data privacy and labor regulations.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to cross-border transactions and intellectual property disputes.
- Provide legal support in handling user disputes and platform-related legal inquiries.
- Stay updated on evolving laws and regulations affecting gig-economy platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in contract review and drafting, particularly for digital platforms.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in legal contexts.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
