Overview

The organization is seeking a Legal Specialist to join the team in Buenos Aires. This is a full-time, hands-on role for a lawyer early in their career who wants to grow in-house within a fast-moving startup environment.

In this role, you will be the go-to person for contract review and contract management, while keeping legal and administrative operations organized and running smoothly. You will work closely with Finance and Operations, supporting activities from vendor onboarding through maintaining agreements, invoices, and filings.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and help negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, and agreements with customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Own contract management by keeping the contract and agreements repository organized, up to date, and easy to search.
  • Lead vendor setup end-to-end, including reviewing customer and supplier documentation such as terms and conditions, codes of conduct, and compliance questionnaires.
  • Handle corporate housekeeping, including entity and state registrations, filings, and compliance records.
  • Support Finance with administrative tasks, including archiving invoices, contracts, and supporting documents, and keeping trackers updated.
  • Coordinate contract execution logistics, including digital and physical signatures, printing, courier shipments, and document delivery across countries.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal teams on day-to-day legal and administrative questions, flagging risks and escalating when needed.

Requirements

  • Law degree (must).
  • 1–3 years of experience in contract review or contract management, ideally in-house at a startup or tech company, or at a Big Four or consulting firm.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable combining legal work with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Proactive and autonomous, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international companies (not only Argentine ones), especially in the US and Europe.
  • Corporate experience is valued over law firm experience.
