Litigation Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Overview

The organization is seeking a motivated Associate with 3+ years of practical litigation experience to join its office in The Star.

This role involves supporting all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials. Travel within the state is required, and occasional travel—including flying—is also required.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of litigation, including:
  • Discovery
  • Depositions
  • Motion practice
  • Trials
• Assist with management of a high-volume caseload
• Manage fluctuating priorities and deadlines efficiently
• Work effectively in a teamwork-driven environment

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Travel required on occasion, including flying

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior insurance defense experience is a plus
• Jury trial experience is a plus
