Medical Malpractice Attorney – Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Jacksonville, FL

Overview

This role is for an experienced trial attorney to join the Medical Malpractice team of a nationally recognized Am Law 200 civil defense law firm with more than 60 years of dedicated service.

Team members are located in the firm’s Orlando, FL office. The right candidate may work remotely with this team from the firm’s Jacksonville or Tampa, Florida offices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in health care litigation matters with meaningful client interaction as part of the team’s trial work
• Work closely with experienced shareholders and associates committed to mentoring and skill development
• Build capability over time toward full case management (not expected to independently manage cases from inception through trial on day one)
• Apply and further develop strong analytical thinking, legal writing, research, and communication skills

Requirements

• 7+ years of litigation experience
• Proven track record in health care litigation
• Strong client relationship skills
