Remote Trust and Estate Litigation Associate Attorney

Overview

A legal firm is seeking a Remote Trust and Estate Litigation Associate Attorney to manage high-stakes trust and estate litigation cases. This role involves working closely with experienced partners and associates, providing opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. The position requires handling complex litigation tasks such as discovery, trial preparation, and client management. The role is based in the Irvine office but offers remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support senior attorneys in trust and estate litigation matters
• Manage a caseload of approximately 25 large cases
• Conduct hearings and assist with trial preparations
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Participate in law and motion practice
• Assist with depositions as needed
• Collaborate with associates and paralegals within the team

Requirements

• 3-7 years of legal experience, including 2-5 years specifically in trust and estate litigation
• Experience with business litigation, contract disputes, and real estate transaction litigation
• Proficiency in discovery, law and motion practice, and deposition procedures
• Admission to the California Bar
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on client needs
• Strong legal writing skills
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience
