Technology Transfer Operations Intern

Overview

This contractor internship supports the management of intellectual property and technology transfer activities for BioVentures. The role offers hands-on experience with the systems, records, deadlines, and processes involved in managing a university intellectual property portfolio.

After initial onboarding and training, work will be primarily remote and asynchronous, with flexible scheduling around academic responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support technology transfer operations related to intellectual property management
• Assist with maintaining and working with records and documentation tied to the university intellectual property portfolio
• Help coordinate processes and deadlines associated with technology transfer activities
• Contribute to day-to-day support of systems used for intellectual property and technology transfer workflows

Requirements

• Current graduate or professional student, including law students and students in science, engineering, biomedical, business, or related fields
• Interest in intellectual property, patent law, technology transfer, licensing, or research administration
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfort working with databases, records, and detailed documentation
• Ability to manage assignments independently and meet established deadlines
