Overview
This role is a long-term remote contract engagement for an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney supporting an Am Law 100 law firm client.
Position involves advising high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning matters, including drafting and reviewing wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning matters
- Handle complex trusts and estates matters for high-net-worth clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of trusts and estates experience, preferably with a large, mid-sized, or sophisticated law firm
- Experience drafting and reviewing wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and related estate planning documents
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning matters
- Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence
- Outstanding references
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience handling complex trusts and estates matters for high-net-worth clients
- Experience within the trusts and estates practice group of a large, mid-sized, or sophisticated boutique law firm
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis.
- Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
