Associate Attorney

Overview

A well-established law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced full-time Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation and business/transactional practice. This position involves working on complex litigation matters, including construction defect and business disputes, within a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of case handling from inception through resolution
• Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support litigation strategy
• Participate in discovery processes, including depositions, written discovery, and document review
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed
• Develop case strategies and provide guidance to clients throughout the litigation process

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Nevada Bar license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general liability and/or business litigation
• Strong file handling and case management skills
• Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented practice

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $110,000 to $180,000 annually

• Position is remote but candidates must be located in the Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada area
