Associate Attorney (General Liability)

Overview

Associate Attorney role focused on General Liability litigation, including premises liability, trucking, and personal injury matters.

Location: Dallas, Hybrid or Remote

This position supports an active and collaborative litigation practice. The role involves managing your own matters with direct client communication and opportunities to conduct hearings and depositions, while working with experienced attorneys for strategic support.

Responsibilities

• Defend a docket of premises liability, trucking, and personal injury matters from initial pleading through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions, and attend hearings independently.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery; manage the discovery process.
• Communicate directly with clients by providing updates, strategy recommendations, and responsive service.
• Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to develop case strategy and share insights.

Requirements

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in premises liability, trucking, personal injury, or general liability defense.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• Located in, or able to travel to, the Dallas area for on-site or hybrid work (remote also available).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with premises liability, trucking, personal injury, or general liability defense.
