Associate Attorney – Personal Injury / Insurance Defense

Overview

An organization is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their team, focusing on Personal Injury and Insurance Defense matters, with an emphasis on rideshare (Uber) cases. This is a full-time, fully remote position, with a preference for candidates located in California.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury and insurance defense cases, particularly involving Uber/rideshare claims
• Handle assigned caseloads independently with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively with insurance carriers and clients
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Maintain accurate billing and time records
• Assist in litigation strategy and case development

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Personal Injury and/or Insurance Defense
• Experience working with insurance companies and claims handling
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and case management
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling rideshare/Uber-related cases
• Based in Southern California (preferred but not required)
