Associate Attorney

Overview

An Associate Attorney position is available for the Georgia – Savannah Area. This role is primarily remote for Georgia-based candidates, with court appearances as needed in the Savannah, Georgia area.

Employment Type: Full-time; part-time will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in creditors’ rights and collection litigation matters in Georgia
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations
• Handle discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Maintain accurate and timely billing records

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Georgia (required)
• 1–3 years of legal experience (collections or litigation preferred)
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Willingness and ability to travel to Georgia courts as needed
• Interest in multi-state practice (opportunity for firm-supported licensure in Maryland and Virginia) (preferred)
