Attorney - Generalist w/ Environmental Experience

Overview

A fast-growing federal contracting organization is seeking an Attorney to support a federal government agency. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and is eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and court submissions.
• Conduct document review.
• Assist in the interpretation of laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Review case files and make necessary corrections.
• Conduct legal research to prepare opinions on relevant matters.
• Identify and categorize relevant records and information within record-keeping systems.
• Review and summarize claims and evidence, identifying patterns.
• Develop statistics and tabulations to support case litigation.

Security Clearance

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
• Must be barred in good standing in a U.S. state or territory.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an Attorney.
• Experience in environmental law is highly desirable.
• Experience using document review software is required.
• Minimal travel may be required.
