Attorney

Overview

This position is for a Probate & Estate Planning Attorney (Remote, Chicago Area) with a focus on probate administration and estate planning matters. The role supports clients across Cook and the surrounding counties, with remote work as the standard approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage probate and trust administration matters from start to finish, including court filings and court appearances in Cook and the collar counties
• Meet with clients to design and draft estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
• Explain legal options to clients in clear, plain language
• Coordinate with paralegals and staff to keep matters moving on schedule
• Assist with residential real estate matters if you have relevant experience

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in probate and estate planning
• Comfortable handling court appearances independently
• Organized, self-directed, and able to manage a caseload remotely
• Strong client communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Real estate experience is a plus (not required)
