This position involves providing senior-level legal review and final validation of site control, interconnection, and permitting-related documentation for energy infrastructure projects. The role ensures compliance with PJM generator interconnection procedures and FERC-regulated processes. Additionally, the attorney will contribute expertise to training next-generation AI systems in the energy sector by delivering high-quality, real-world input.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct senior-level legal review and final validation of documentation related to site control, interconnection, and permitting for energy infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure project materials comply with PJM generator interconnection procedures, queue-readiness expectations, site control requirements, and applicable FERC regulations.
  • Review escalated issues concerning site control, interconnection, and permitting; provide guidance on resolution and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of PJM interconnection compliance, FERC regulations, energy permitting, and site control review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in PJM interconnection compliance, FERC regulations, energy permitting, and site control review, particularly related to generator interconnection and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience providing senior-level legal review and final validation of complex documentation with meticulous attention to detail and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide expert guidance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
