Business & Commercial Litigation Attorneys

Overview

The organization has immediate openings for Business and Commercial Litigation Attorneys in its Ontario/Inland Empire office. All years of experience are welcome to apply. Flexible work options are available, including hybrid opportunities.

This full-service law firm offers national and local practices, with a rapidly growing commercial litigation group.

Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in California.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in active, complex matters pending in state and federal court
• Take ownership of assigned work and contribute to case strategy and execution
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support litigation positions
• Draft and submit legal documents, including dispositive and pre-trial motions
• Handle written discovery tasks, including propounding and responding to written discovery
• Take depositions
• Prepare and advocate through trial proceedings (trial experience preferred but not required)
• Defend class actions (experience is a plus but not required)

Requirements

• Excellent academic background
• Proven skills in writing, analysis, and research
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership of work
• Licensed and admitted to practice in California

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience propounding and responding to written discovery
• Experience taking depositions
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and pre-trial motions
• Trial experience
• Experience defending class actions

Compensation & Benefits

• Eligibility for both discretionary and performance-based bonuses

Pay Range

• USD $100,000.00 - USD $275,000.00 /Yr.

Actual compensation is tailored to the individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
