Overview

A national law firm with offices near San Francisco, CA is seeking a civil defense litigation attorney licensed in California. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position requiring residency in California to attend court appearances and depositions as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in personal injury defense litigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil defense litigation matters, specifically personal injury defense cases
• Participate in court appearances and depositions as required
• Provide written and oral advocacy in a fast-paced law firm environment

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of civil defense litigation experience, focusing on personal injury defense
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in California
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to thrive in a professional, fast-paced law firm setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior trial experience is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $165,000 to $215,000, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
