California-Licensed Attorney w/ Deposition Experience (Remote & Contract)

Overview

A law firm with offices in California is seeking a California-licensed attorney with at least four years of experience taking and defending depositions. This is a contract role available on a part-time or full-time basis. The position is fully remote, allowing candidates to be located anywhere in the United States. Experience with mass tort and/or toxic tort matters is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate primarily in depositions conducted via Zoom
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California
• Minimum of 4 years of experience taking and defending depositions
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding professional references
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on mass tort and/or toxic tort matters

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized compensation ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
• W2 employment status
