Civil Litigation Attorneys

Overview

A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking civil litigation attorneys for its Milwaukee office. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, though applicants with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

Openings are available in defense litigation across multiple practice areas, including:

• Employment
• Complex Commercial
• Construction
• Healthcare
• Professional Liability
• Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith
• Environmental
• Toxic Tort
• Product Liability
• General Liability

Applicants must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation cases within assigned practice areas
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
• Collaborate with team members and clients
• Manage assignments with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience preferred, but all experience levels considered
• Strong litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
• Excellent legal research abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Trial experience is preferred but not required
