Civil Litigation Attorneys
Overview
A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking associate attorneys or senior counsel for its Manchester, NH office. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of experience defending a variety of insured litigation matters, including professional liability, product liability, construction, toxic tort, and other general liability litigation.
Strong analytical skills, excellent research, writing, and verbal communication abilities are required. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to superior client service and professionalism. The role requires self-motivation, discipline, teamwork, and the willingness to take leadership responsibility in solving client problems. Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in New Hampshire. Admission in additional states such as Maine, Vermont, and/or Massachusetts is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Defend insured litigation cases across various practice areas including professional liability, product liability, construction, toxic tort, and general liability
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with team members and take leadership roles in case management
- Provide excellent client service and maintain professionalism
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant litigation experience
- Admission to practice law in New Hampshire
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with motivation and discipline
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Trial experience
- Admission to practice in Maine, Vermont, and/or Massachusetts
