Civil Litigation Attorneys

Overview

A law firm with a national presence is seeking civil litigation attorneys with at least three years of experience, though candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Flexible work arrangements are available, including fully remote, hybrid, part-time, and full-time options.

The firm has openings for defense litigators across various practice areas such as Employment, Complex Commercial, Construction, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith, Environmental, Toxic Tort, Product Liability, and General Liability. Candidates should be driven team players with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills. Strong academic backgrounds, proven research skills, and the ability to work independently are required. Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must be licensed and admitted to practice in the state where they apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation cases in defense practice groups
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
• Collaborate with team members and clients
• Manage assignments with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Licensed attorney admitted to practice in the relevant state
• Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience preferred; all experience levels considered
• Strong litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Proven research capabilities
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Trial experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary ranges by level:
  • Associates: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
  • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
  • Partners: $190,000 - $275,000 per year
• Actual salary depends on skills, experience, training, and location
