Overview
An organization is seeking an experienced commercial construction law attorney for a part-time, remote contract engagement. This role involves working on sophisticated commercial construction matters with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities
- Handle commercial construction claims and disputes
- Provide legal expertise on owner-side construction matters (preferred)
- Engage in litigation related to commercial construction
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience
- Substantial experience managing commercial construction claims or disputes
- Owner-side experience strongly preferred
- Litigation experience at a large law firm or sophisticated boutique preferred
- In-house legal experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized pay range (full-time equivalent): $170,000 to $200,000
- Contract pay rates depend on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
